So after receiving the Explore Gold offer last December which was contingent on being QF Silver, and subsequently qualifying for full Gold, Mrs Falcs just received another offer to apply for Explore Gold. This time with no conditions attached and despite already holding Gold status. The T&C's state you must have received the offer personally but I'm mildly curious what would happen if I entered a different account number as the link is to an application form on the VFF site that just asks you to log in.

Meanwhile I'm slogging my way up to Gold the hard way and they've knocked back my request for a status match/challenge.

Go figure...

My wife got the offer, as did I - already Plat, so not intelligently targeted.

I received this offer late last year too, took it up but didn't take any VA flights. Just received the offer again which I will take up tomorrow morning. Have a VA trip to BME in August. Not really going to make any real difference as already have VA lounge access with the Amex Platinum card and flight back is in J (using EY points).

I also received today's email. I already have VA gold status...

Likewise, already Gold until March 2018, have tried so sign Dad up as Mum is NR soon to be Plat.

They sent an Explore Gold offer to me too despite offering me the same thing late last year which I took them up on and earned the correct number of SCs to turn that into a full Velocity membership.

While Flybuys probably can't 'see' my Velocity status, they should certainly have on file that I accepted their last offer for the same thing!

I received the offer last night - currently I'm Velocity Red. Not sure if I will take up the offer as I'm struggling to retain Qantas PS this year and all my flights for an upcoming month long US/Canada holiday are with AA or QF

Came through via flybuys so I'll give it to the better half. Do VA send out cards? It'll help with some SQ and SA flights.

I got this offer a couple of weeks ago - already Gold until March 2018 and already well on the way to requalifying again.

got this offer yesterday. Currently VA silver so will go for it and should be able to get the 80SCs to maintain it.. Will delay me getting QF gold for a little longer!

Is this transferable?

I am already Gold but my son is only Red and i got the email.

It actually doesnt say that you cant (I think, havent read the fine print.... glasses were too far away). They will prompt you for your Velocity number and password and thats it. I guess you need to have a FB account with linked card, thats all. You can only but try...

Anyone know how long it takes to come through? We are off in 2 weeks and flying Delta it would make all the difference with the card in my hand.

Whilst the last offer didn't mention it wasn't transferable, it did mention that it was a personalised offer.

Same with the offer I received - the Ts & Cs stated: "5. To be eligible you need to be a member of both flybuys and Velocity Frequent Flyer and be personally sent this offer" , so I guess it depends on how closely they track who actually applies.

I received the Gold offer last year, took it up but didn't fly with Virgin. Have since dropped to Silver. Have now received the Gold offer again but still have no bookings with Virgin...
