I am gold - wife is silver - both need a few SCs to maintain current status.
If I book for 2 adults who gets SCs?

The people flying get the SC's, so both you and your wife. (Make sure you enter the FF number for each flyer in the booking.)
 
The SCs apply to the individual ticket holder not the person who books the flights.
