I didn't get the offer.

8 March end date would be frustrating, I agree. I don't anticipate doing much travel more than what I've currently booked till after then.

A Double Status Credits offer next year would be fantastic.

Would it be reasonable to assume that if invited and once registered, vouchers purchased during this period (8/12/17 - 15/12/17) and later redeemed for flights before 8/3/18 would qualify for the 50% bonus?

Well it's worked before so worth a shot.

I got the offer and am travelling between 21 and 26 Feb. My year end is 28 Feb. Do the double SCs count/post in the year they are earned or just when they hit the statement? I need them by 28 Feb to hit WP! They are not (as) much good to me if they take a few days to post and count in the following year!

They'll be credited to the year you flew. This is why if your status is going to be downgraded that it takes a few days to show. Just in case any errant SCs are still to be posted.
