Thread Bump... I'm in the market for a new luggage set and have heard/read good things about the Cosmolite FL range. One question, can someone confirm whether or not they 'russian doll' easily? We often come back from trips with a lot of shopping so it would be handy to check one bag outbound with the second bag inside.

I can't speak as to their ability to cascade inside each other, but I recently had my Tumi case destroyed by QF and it was replaced with a victorinox, the victorinox case is very awesome and cascades well (the lady got my case out of another case)

So to muddy your waters, look at victorinox too!

My old Tumi was an amazing case too until a 767 landed on it (that's what it looked like!)

Hi Orca,

I can help out with your query... In the new Cosmolite FL range:

- The 75cm will not fit into the 81cm
- The 69cm will fit into the 81cm

- The 69cm will not fit into the 75cm

- The cabin size will fit into all.
So you could nest a cabin inside of a 69, and those inside an 81.

Hope that helps! It is also helpful to know for storing at home.

Reload is correct the Victorinox Werks range does the job really well it is also a fantastic case, and worth considering, the cabin, medium and large nest well.
Our range of Victorinox Luggage range is currently 30% off

Let me know if I can help with other questions!

Thanks Michael. That's exactly the info I needed.

Michael,

Hats off to The Luggage Professionals... been searching across the interwebs and your prices seem to be the cheapest thus far. The only negative is that you don't seem to offer the emerald colour? (Orca-ress want's emerald and won't settle for silver :/)

Hi Orca,

Unfortunately we don't have the emerald, this was a special colour that was released when the new Cosmolite FL was released back in August and we sold out early on, I have been in touch with Samsonite today and unfortunately they too are also out of stock of the Emerald. I am sorry I couldn't be of more assistance.

Regards
Michael

the new cosmolite - has it improved the zipper problem?

compare to firelite, which one is better? because its lighter?

I was in Trade Secret today and saw that they currently have a range of Antler Liquis cases priced from $149 for the carry on to $199 for the largest.

That's a good price Princess Fiona - on the 'Luggage Professionals' website they are quoting $ 224 for the carry on and $ 300 for the largest.

We are currently using these - we have the set of 3 - but another of the largest ones wouldn't go astray for my little shopping trips :D

I spotted the same over Christmas at the kotarra store in Newcastle. I've also seen various caterpillar bags including what I thought was a laptop bag for $60 at Chermside qld.

a bit late to the party, but cosmolites are everywhere! my partner has had his taken by mistake a few times. Make sure you put stickers or other identifiers on just in case!

I just purchased the XL Cosmolite on sale today and had an interesting conversation with the shopkeeper - he said that the prices on imported luggage are all going up next month because of the drop in the value of the $AUD. Something to think about if you're vacillating about buying new bags.
