Ive got a PE booking for tommorrow night. Does anyone know if dj lounge angels are agreeable to trying to move your flight if there is a bsi plane coming? Do they even know?

I still havent managed to score one yet?

Just had an update, YFF is about to land and it's still my chariot for this evening..........YES!

To really cap off the afternoon, Moet & Chandon is now being served to celebrate the Virgin/AMEX deal.............the things I have to do to earn a crust!

If only I was reading this thread earlier. I went out to stretch my legs this afternoon, walked from Wolli Creek Station to T1, to T3 via Qantas Dr (finally spending some time exploring the QF Heritage Collection) before heading to Mascot and catching the train back to Central.

Photo secured of the Moet stand (I'll post it later) and had to drag fellow AFFer DJ-1D away to get it. As it turns out, he and I are on the same flight, both on PE. I'm still pretty wrapped actually!

Bloody great flight! Seats are fantastic - do not feel cheap at all. Quite large and good recline. I kept asking swanning if I was bothering him with the recline - he said he couldn't even notice. The "space" felt very private and true biz class. Good legroom, wide seats and a nice little table between the seats. Plus the interior design was very sleek with great mood lighting. All in all a fantastic hard product.

Service was also top notch - crew were extremely nice and asked a few times if we needed anything more. And to top it off the pilot came out and chatted with us for about 10 mins. Really was keen to know what we thought of the direction of VA. Was genuinely engaging.

Only thing lacking was the IFE. But sure something good is coming soon...

What an afternoon..............Trying out priority access/screening, meeting a couple of interesting AFFers (sorry kevrosmith for not having more time to chat), scoring a J seat and J SCs (hopefully) on a PE fare, getting the great new BSI ambience, having a late lunch of mushroom soup, turkey/swiss cheese/tomato sandwiches all washed down with Moet, priority boarding (which did actually work a treat), followed by a three course dinner of pumpkin soup, ham and cheese wrap and followed up with an O'Leary Walker Chardonnay and cheese and crackers and a casual chat with the pilot.

I heard a word this afternoon I didn't understand......QANTAS. What's a Qantas. I feel I should know............ but have forgotten.
