Hi,

New to the forum, started doing regular fortnightly trips of SYD-HKG and thought this is a prefect place to learn more about in and outs of Frequent Flying.

A brief question, I am taking advantage of the LAN J-class fares to AKL this weekend to jump to QFPS by the end of the month (and hopefully QFSG by April status date!). Anyway, I am flying back on Monday 22nd Feb, (hopefully) arriving @ 7:30am and have a flight booked on CX on Y-class to go SYD-HKG @ 11:30am same day.

Anyway, does anyone know if there is a chance that I could link these two flights together so I don't have to go out via arrivals immigration and can just transfer within the terminal and enjoy a few hours at the QC lounge?
Since they are both Oneworld, I thought it might be possible at AKL end?

As I am new to doing multiple legs and on various planes, I am at a bit of loss if I can make this happen. Your help would be great!

Welcome to AFF StuntmanRon :D

You can use On Line Check In for the CX flight and simply go through transit security.

It should be possible to check any luggage you may have from AKL all the way through to HKG. Make sure you have printed copies of BOTH e-ticket receipts on hand when you check-in at AKL.
