Thank you Scarlett! There are still Virgin and Scoot flights but both are one stop.
Seems flights are about $150-200 one way on JQ outside peak periods and that is cheaper than QZ (who I personally would not fly on).
Batik flew PER-DPS while Malindo flew PER-KUL directBatik (full service carrier based in Indonesia) was indeed effectively the same as Malindo (based in Malaysia). Both part of the Lion Air group.
Malindo was interesting: were they targeting the KUL-PER vv market or the PER-DPS vv market? Or hoping for a bit of both? Or just a semi-convenient refuel stop? I wonder how they were doing on that KUL-DPS-PER route?

It’ll be Jetstar plus the Indonesian airlines. Virgin dumped it a long time ago. I think they still did Port Hedland to Bali but that seems like a long shot to return.
You’ll get Jetstar, Citilink and Air Asia Indonesia. Probably Garuda. Plus whatever the Indonesian Malindo is. Was that Batik?
Looking at Saturday’s in November for example, it’s still available for booking. Obviously that means nothing these days with things changing all the time, but interesting it’s still appearing for sale. You’d think if they had no intention of resuming the route, it would be taken off sale completely.I think they still did Port Hedland to Bali but that seems like a long shot to return.
And launching CGK:Citilink may well return soon too
