Any tricky ways to keep AA miles alive?

Was wondering there are any tricks like installing a search tool bar etc.

Was hoping to not have to buy any more miles for the time being (especially with the merger) and obviously no prospects of using them anytime soon.

Thanks for any input :)
 
Presumably AA has hire car and hotel partners so those may be a good way
 
Last year my daughter donated 100 miles to one of AA's chosen charities which kept her account alive for another 18 months.

i played that game but didnt get 500 points. this is the planes game. there must be a specific trigger or combination to get the 500 points.

You need to get the Star (Last week that gave a 10% fare discount).

I did it twice and no [-]Cigar[/-] Star ... :-|
