Anyone else want kids banned from business class?

Had them running up and down the aisles on International VA flight....bang bang the floor went as trying to sleep...or at least strict rules enforced!
Whats with the extra room and mirrors in WOMEN only toilet.....bloody discrimination there people...how do we allow this to happen?
Something about new PJ's coming...so not enough current large SIZE stock to handout..WTF!
Everyone eating salmon so not enough to go round.
Other than that great flight\crew!

FWIW forget the generalizations, it is bad behaviour full stop regardless of age which is the issue.

Come on now, lets use this site for what it is intended for and that would be for like minded travelers and interested persons having sensible and logical discussions on subjects which are of interest to all.
Dont use the site as your personal venue for a cough session just because a number of things were not to you express liking. That is the world of travel, we all have trips like them so put it down to experiance and take it out in the correct place and that is with the airline.

I think children should be banned from flying altogether - alternately perhaps on children only flights.

I would also accept them being held in the cargo hold if there is sufficient soundproofing so I can't hear them.

Such a ban would only work, if an additional ban on anyone, that is, has been, or potentially could be a parent is also considered.

Yes, that could work...they do transport livestock and pets etc that way...they would need however to be placed in secure and strong transport containers

Let me see if I can successfully sum up at least some of the forthcoming posts in this thread, eliminating the need for anyone to make them!* ^

1. Children are noisy and should have their own area.

2. The children of members on this site are perfectly well behaved and would never make noise or bother pax in the lounge.

3. Businessmen on phones are just as bad

4. ...and don't get me going on the boguns.

5. It's not the children who are at fault, it's the parents

6. For crying out loud they let football teams in the lounges.

7. Why should parents be penalised for having children and traveling with them?

8. Let's face it the real issue is that some people don't know how to behave let alone children.

9. Children in the lounges....you hardly ever see them in the lounges, particularly during the week.

Have I missed anything? Rather than post in full just select the number and add the required number of dots to fulfill the character requirements for posting!!!!

To be fair a great deal of posts on this site are personal opinions about travel and trips. The topics that get the most interest seem to be the ones filled with whinges and "coughes". Absolutely nothing wrong with that, serves to enliven a boring day! I can get sensible and logical at work...in spades. Give me the bizarre, illogical, and absurd any day. Even QF joins in....gotta love the row 48 drama.

I think your flight had much bigger issues than the kids and it is shame that those items will get lost in the jocularity of kids/no kids/bad parenting debate that will ensue.

If I remember correctly, I think it was JQ. A flight attendant placing a child in the overhead locker...now theres an idea...trouble is there isnt sufficient room for our carry ons let alone a dozen or so kids

Banning well behaved kids from biz is a bit rich. Not everyone with kids flys in economy...
