Hi All,

I have an upcoming flight booked in J on the MH A380 from HKG-KUL with my QFF Plat/OWE number on the booking.
Has anyone flown on the MH A380 yet, and more specifically after they have entered OW and as a OWE/OWS?

Interested in what your experience was like and what I should be expecting on my flight,eg. anything extra special, personal greetings.etc?

I don't believe this route is a 'Book the cook' route, but i've heard their signature satay is good..

Be interested for comments on this as well, also regarding the lounges etc. at KUL.

I, too, will post up something short after my flight KUL-LHR as QF SG/CX Gold.

Have also chosen our meals in advance so I'll let you know what I think!

Am looking forward to reading your and Cmon's trip reports.

I flew J in a new MH A380 LHR-KUL as part of an Oz - Euro trip. I was able to secure 8K just by ringing up. It's in the smaller forward section and was nice and quiet and seat next to me was vacant. Don't know if it was my OWE but 3 of 4 flights I had 2 seats to myself.

Generally service is good and a few stilted acknowledgments of status. Subtle priority in taking meal order and delivering said order. But this was inconsistent on all flights, but this was less than two weeks after joining OW. I'm booked again Euro return in Aug/Sep with CDG-KUL in the A380 J class. It will be interesting to see if there has been any change. I wasn't able to do the 'book the cook' thing in Mar (website is useless), but will try next time.

Yes, the Satays are great. I'll post a pic later.

Can't post up pictures yet, but really happy with the flight.

KUL-LHR on MH002 at 1140ish-0700ish (can't remember times).

Seats 1 D and G, both aisles with a divider that can be raised between them. Fully flat beds, quite comfortable, 19in tv in front, seat opposite when not used as a bed so you can chat/dine together if desired.
Had Chef on Call so we ordered our meals in advance "supper" and breakfast. Not bad food, I had the mixed grill and the pancakes/waffles.

Very happy with the service and the overall flight. No complaints but have no other F experiences with which to compare.

Please ask questions if you have any, as I never know what people might want to know. Being so late, I slept for about 8 hours and did not tour the rest of the plane.
