Anyone using AwardLogic? Only works for a couple of hours

I am using AwardLogic to find flights. I find that it works great for the first few hours and then NOTHING. It is like it only wants you to use it for a couple of hours and then it won't find anything else. It just sits and thinks and nothing comes up. This also happened the last time about 6 months ago when i purchased a month's subscription. It worked great for a few hours then stopped working. I waited a few days and then it worked again. This time, nothing. Am I doing something wrong? If this is the case maybe I won't bother paying for it again. The other weird thing is that it kind of seems ok to find flights out of oz but coming home it struggles to find anything at all

If it's a paid sub then they must have customer service. Have you contacted them? Do you use incognito mode?

Yep, it's a paid sub. I was looking really hard on their website for a contact but couldn't find it. Actually, I just had another look and i found an email address [email protected]. I will send them an email

The owners of such sites are very wary of BOTS scraping their data. It may be that AwardLogic has an 'unwritten' daily query limit.

I found, for example, with Expert Flyer that if I did too many actions in too short a time it locked me out. Also, I have not been able to use E/F with the free Changi Wi-Fi so I suspect it is IP based.

Interesting, I was wondering if that might be the case. I also found that if i did many lookups it would then slow down and have a counter on the top of the screen and it would go slower.

I note from the Award Logic Terms of Service:

Your searching may also be throttled; to avoid traffic congestions and if we deem your behavior abusive to our internal systems or your use of our platform is being misappropriated for enterprise purposes.

Interesting, when I am searching for an award flight, I go hard!! I spend hours searching in one sitting. I lose hours to looking. This now all makes sense
