Hi.. so I just got an email from ANZ saying that there interest free period will be reduced from 55 days to 44 days .. This seems to now be the standard for CC lately...

This credit card was pretty good a few years ago, but they have slowly been removing some features which made it unique. 1. Only 0.5 points if over 7500 per month, 2. No points for government spend, and now a reduction in interest free period ..

So I guess I should look for a new CC

Im not really bothered by this change as I always pay the amount owing in full, so interest free period and interest is irrelevant to me.

Even if you don’t pay interest, it means that your money sits in your bank or offset for 10 fewer days.
Yeah.. this is my situation, I offset my money, so having 11 less days is annoying... ANZ were the last bank to offer 55 days, so I guess it's the way of the world now

What happens if you have arranged for the balance to be paid on the due date previously. Do you have to contact the bank to make sure that the repayment is made on the new due date?
