ANZ class action

Came here to ask the same question. Have certainly held anz cards but don't recall ever paying interest. Trying to determine the ethics of it on these grounds!

I assume ANZ is only handing over the details of people actually part of the class action - I doubt the court would have ordered ANZ to hand over every card members details if not covered by the class action

Yes I have but I was a long term holder of an ANZ card over the claim period

I have received this as well, rang the lawyers, left a voicemail message and then received another email thanking me for this and a portal to open for the registration? Very concerned!

Doesn't sound like phone calls or voicemail are being prioritised right now.

I registered - we accidently missed paying the full amount when overseas, and the interest continued for a number of statements, albeit small amounts.

Yep. Thats what happened with us.

We did get a credit a couple of weeks ago of a few cents as ANZ Reddif

I got a refund of 3 cents a few months ago I presume thats what it's about. wonder how many millions the solicitors got

I just got this email today. Can't remember if I paid any interest, as we like to pay the balance in full. But may have missed payment once or twice.

Haven't decided whether to register. Would they have to calculate everyones overpaid interest? Or is a random payout amount?

@DomD the email contains a link. I just clicked on the link and it expired and it asks to send another link which I did. Registrations close 04/Oct/24 and I totally forgot about it but now registered.

Try anz.pfm.law and see if you can send yourself a link.

I received an email about an estimated payout. alA but less than $100 for me is their estmate. We'll see.
