Hi folks,

Has anyone ever found any J award availability on Air NZ from East coast Oz to San Fran?

It sure would be convenient for an upcoming trip, but it t's starting to seem like NZ just doesn't do points seats in J across the Pacific!

Cheers,

Danny

They don't release any J award seats across the Pacific (or TT) at any time.

Thats not correct we gave got 3 J seats on 777 for the last 4 years the last late 2014 and 2 J seats to Lax for the last 2 years.

I had set flight alerts for NZ in Expert Flyer for "I" class seats BNE/xAKL/PPT vv 9 months ahead when US DM were still *A (hoping to use a 30K award) & didn't get a single notification. By comparison it makes getting a "U" class seat on QF look easy.
