I’m not sure with all this rain that the ANZ Ladies Masters will be that good this year, but the rain is predicted to clear up by Thursday, so it could be nice just in time.

Anyway, to any members of AFF who are planning to go, this is an invitation to come round for a drink at my place on the course. From my house you can walk nearly straight onto the golf course. You might even get on without paying ;) (not that I’d advocate such a thing, but I have spare tickets anyway)

If you want to stop by, just send a PM and we can arrange something on any of the days, 4 - 7 March.

Cheers!

A few years ago they used to give free admission to ANZ cardholders (If I remember correctly). Do they still do this?

(A 4 day ticket only costs $67 anyway - and there's no chance I'll be attending so it's a moot point, but still curious)

Not any more apparently, they did have a comp to give away 500 passes a few weeks ago. I wont be going as I spend close to two weeks there in May/July for Auscert/Quentnet shows, maybe a drink on my tab is in order then samh004!

I can very easily come up to the Hydrate bar for a drink some time, so you’re on.

Thanks for the kind offer but I am heading back to Sydney next weekend.

If it was 2 weeks later then I would have definitely turned up and after following some of those women around I would have needed a cold drink to cool me down. ;)

Following Karrie around yesterday and witnessing her shoot 61 would have been something special. Good to see her back in form.

Must remember to look at golf schedules next year (assuming I am still working in Brisbane) and try to be up in BNE that weekend.

There were too many people to walk with her, luckily I had free stand tickets, so sat in the stands with a few bottles of beer. Ended up getting sun burnt though :(

The cricket match was good too, big crowd.

I would have come down to walk with Rachel Hetherington - as she trained with my personal trainer and I have always kept up with her scores (plus she is married to Greg Ritchie). Alas, she dislocated and fractured her ankle on Boxing Day so couldn't play this year.
