ANZ Rewards Cathay Asia Miles Bonus promotions frequency

Hi All

I have ~190k in Anz Rewards points I plan to convert to Asia Miles.

Just wondering if bonus promotions are run regularly or just on an ad hoc basis?

Stretch goal is F class HK to LHR.

They seem to happen on a 6 to 12 month basis. Last one finished in Dec, from which I'm still chasing them for the bonus points.

I'd double check the bonus points are actually credited as doesn't seem to be automatic.

it took 3 months and a lot of two and fro between the "Customer Care Team" and the "Awards Team" to get Cathay to acknowledge that i was entitled to bonus points. (Suggest you get a screen shot of the offer). Bonus points were quietly added to my account without any admission of errors. After dealing with Cathay, I don't have any confidence in them managing my points credits and debits.
