Hi All

I used to have an iphone app that would show the ontime performance for a particular flight which was very helpful when deciding which flight to book. Is there an easy way to source that information for future flights?

Thanks

Does that actually work to any degree? It smacks of looking at previous throws of the dice to predict future ones.

Flighty app. its brilliant, not just for this of course. EDIT: You'll have to put a dummy booking in to see the performance and its only for the past 60 days which is probably most relevant, but not for flights more than a few months in the future.

From my flight today.

Sure, they are all independent events, but some flights I've taken while using the app over the past year will show as consistently late (or early). For Hobart flights, its the ones towards the end of the day that are consistently late and its a good bet that that will continue. Don't need the app to tell that of course, but if I had a choice of two flights - one consistently late and one usually early over the past 2 months, I'll take the early flight (and take my chances :) ).

I agree with that. I'm only just starting to travel again but when I regularly did BNE-SYD the return QF flights are 30mins apart but some frequently left later than the next flight due to the way the planes move during the day. I'm trying to get that visibility again.

Will have a look at flighty - thats exactly the data I remember. Thanks for the recommendation.
