Apparently QF28 on its way back from Santiago is the last ever QF 747 flight

It was said recently in one of our town hall meetings, that they still plan to give the 747 a proper send off given its 50 year history with the airline and the importance of it to everyone. As for when this will happen, this is yet to be decided but I'd expect a little bit of fanfare for it.
