Thanks to double SC, desire to get FiL into the lounge and a tax deduction opportunity I have:

13 Apr ADL-OLP - Midday QP 1 guest spot available.
14 Apr OLP-ADL - 9am almost unlimited guest spot available under the shed - Also 2 guest spots available at the QP ADL @ about 10:45

I am on the 1400 flight OLP-ADL today so will cross paths.

Damn, I should have checked back sooner. Were you sitting in the shed? I had a bit of a look around but I was mainly shocked by the construction work and the new "priority" luggage situation.

Yeah was hanging around out in the shed there. The construction work is due to the new need for them to put in security scanners before the end of June I think, so the airport is getting a new work around, but messy at the moment.

Given they do security screening once you get to ADL, that's just a little big silly.

Yeah it has come from the government through their "Strengthening Aviation Security" review which provided funds for security screening at airports only running prop aircraft. Another great measure along with an increase in the useless explosive tests, would love to know if anyone has actually been caught with something from that, but that is a topic for another day.

As my *A Gold has recently expired, i'm loungeless. Huge long shot but if anyone is around that feels like guesting me, please do so

What about a United Club card? (used to be Presidents Club with Continental). I had one for a few years before achieving and maintaining *Gold. Claimed the annual fee on tax as the lounges are considered a place of business.

Sorry I missed a chance to meet up, but the last few days have been quite busy (though nothing compared to the newest inductee to the ball-and-chain society )
