Are EY & VA Status credits the same for Business & First

Hi All,

Just wondering if someone can tell me that if I book a First Class ticket to LHR with EY what will be the status credits I will receive for this via my VA account. The VA website bundles business and first into the same category!! That would only 580 status credits for a return.

The same trip on QF would net me 840 status credits...

You are correct - J and F are the same SC earn in the Velocity program.

Note that points earn is slightly differentiated for J and F depending on carrier flown.

Not if you're just chasing status, but many people do fly F for the class.

Remember that the status credit requirement for VFF levels are on par with QFF when it's mostly all balanced out (with the former having a better bias for those who do a lot of travel on the Virgin Australia network, viz. domestic).
