Been googling and can't find anything recent about the AA instant UP fares.

Tried looking on the AA.COM site doing an advanced search but don't see anything to look for an upgradeable fare.

They exist still as fares that are notionally Economy but book into First/Business fare buckets.

They are much more expensive and more restricted than they were a decade ago.

For example, AA KXAUPNIF LAX to DEN (one way) with a base fare of USD205 and +++ of USD30books into I.

do you know how to get them to show when searching?

I seem to remember the advanced search had more options in the past

I use ITA and a sometimrs a script to book... look at the more recent posts in the FT thread here ....

Sometimes these days I use a TA as some of the USA +++ can be reduced in conjuction with an international ticket.

ISTR there being an ITA tutorial article on AFF.
