Are some more equal than others?

On one of our AA flights~ 2 years ago a guy got on,put his 3 bags in the F overheads and proceeded down thw back.Unfortunately for him he held his BP so that I could read his seat number-23A.the last F pax to board was obviously well known to the FA and there was no overhead space and the front locker was full.i was able to say those 3 bags above the gentleman's seat belong to the fellow in 23A.The FA took them down saying just as well we have some space right at the back.23A was probably a little taken aback.

On a recent AA flight in Domestic F. I was the last F passenger to board, had an aisle seat 3C. All F overheads were full except the one above my seat, which had 3A's bag taking half the space and the other half was empty. I'm stopped next to the seat just putting down the handle on my carryon when old mate in 3A jumps up, almost barging me out of the way and puts his folded jacket and stupid fedora hat into the overhead, right where I was about to put my carryon. I was about to give him my best McEnroe ("Are you serious??") when a nearby FA who saw what was happening came over and offered to hang up the jacket and stupid hat.
I hate those hats.

TSV-BNE (QF). Snappily-dressed gent boards just in front of me and puts his carry-on in the half-full locker above my row (6) and then saunters off to his seat in Row 20-something. I touched it and I moved it far enough to be able to put my bag in; I also helped the lady in Row 5 whose bag he'd moved back to Row 7. I felt justified in touching another passenger's bag in this instance.

I would have either started a fight with the guy or, if I felt more rational at that moment, would inform the flight attendants very vocally and loudly so that it's clear who started the issue here.

Reminds me of an incidence in LHR a few years back where some fat old guy tried to push ahead in the priority line to get onto the plane first. After reminding him that "we are in England here where people tend to observe the queue" didn't help, I fended him off with a (probably quite painful) elbow into his ribs. Only afterwards I realized that he was a rather famous German (Ex-)politician who then gave me angry looks from his seat in 2C over the entire flight :D
