Are there issues with searching Partner reward seats on VA currently?

Evening all - wondering if anyone has successfully redeemed a Business Reward Seat on United using VA points? I'm looking for May (I know, probably way too late - but I can hope). Out of interest I've looked months ahead as well and can see nothing. Do they exist?!

Hi all. First time poster! I’ve been searching VA’s site twice a day for UA and QR reward seats and about a day ago VA’s site stopped showing any at all (there were plenty of reward seats available). Keep getting “No flights found for your search” and nothing in the calendar for the whole year. Multiple routes.
I’m wondering if there’s a problem with VA loading UA and QR reward seats currently? Anyone else having this problem too? It seems to have started ever since the availability calendar has ticked over to 2024.

You're right. When searching MEL-DOH I can see them.
I was searching MEL-LAX or SFO and getting options before via DOH but no longer which is why I thought there was issues with QR too. Seems to be just UA or something to do with flights to the US that is the problem

I think it's all US not just UA because I've tried searching for some others to Canada and Hawaii and also get nothing.

Yes I took a look at the dates I'm after and found full availability in September on the UA website. Very frustrating.

The problem still persists.

I can see USA-EUR reward availability on UA but nowt on VA. The saver awards are also now fewer and further between on UA. VA won't even let me search SFO-CDG or LHR ("Uh oh! No matching results") unless I edit the search after searching for something like SFO-DUS. Even then, if I find an available date, nothing happens when I go to find flights.

I just called Velocity Redemptions and they were able to find no availability for my June dates.

Prior to the seats disappearing you also had the (terrible) option of using the VA equivalent of points + pay to purchase UA tickets. These have disappeared as well. It's not an issue of award availability.

I actually like points + pay. I know it's not perfect but it allows me to get more use out of my points.

It is working? Because when I click on a date, it doesn't matter which date. It keeps saying nothing is available, choose from the following dates, it then lists some that are available. But when I click on those, I keep getting the "not available" message.

I've looked at several all are doing the same thing.
Vancouver - Honolulu
Honolulu - Sydney
LAX - Sydney
LAX - Canberra
SFO - Canberra
All in September. The date shows as one available but when I click on it and choose next, it just says "please choose from the available dates" it shows me the available ones again and keeps going in the same loop.

LAX-SYD shows Y reward seats on 12/2, 19/2 and 20/2 for me. Are you trying to search for J seats only?

It's actually working for me now. So not sure what was going on a few mins ago.

EDIT: It's actually not working, only for a few. Ugh why does this always happen to me.
I'm looking at LAX - Vancouver Sep 9 for 4 people. Shows as Available but when I click on next, it says "choose an available date" even though it is available.
What am I missing here??

Maybe it's still being fixed. I'm noticing the same issue on EWR-LAX/SFO.
