I'm flying SYD - LAX - YYZ(AA) and YYZ(AA) - JFK - LAX - SYD a week or so later - all in QF PE.

I've put in an upgrade request for all QF flights and I was interested in how the upgrade approval works.

Will I be approved/ declined for all flights at once? (even though the flight home is almost two weeks after my original)

I'm QFF Plat status and understand that I get notified up to 48hrs in advance.

Also if anyone would be so kind to tell me what the loadings are on QF 11 on the 8th Sept and QF 108 on the 23rd Sept it would be very much appreciated. I dont have expertflyer or seatselector and I'm desperately hoping for the upgrade.

Thanks

It would be on a segment by segment basis.

Thanks Serfty.

Have they given upgrades for only the first leg of QF108 before? Just JFK to LAX. It would seem odd.

Only if you has separate booked segments for QF108 JFK-LAX and QF108 LAX-SYD.

If you are booked QF108 JFK-SYD then it would all come though or none.

(This excludes the provisions of the recent introduction of point upgrade requests being granted as late as on boarding - there are special provisions that ISTR may relate to this and I am not fully cognisant of the detail.)
