ARN-(Asia)-LHR for just over $500 return

Just thought I'd post this in case it is useful for someone. Air China has some excellent deals on flights from Stockholm to numerous Asian cities, returning to London. Could also work returning to Frankfurt. Flights are via Beijing. ARN-xPEK-HKG-xPEK-LHR is possible for about AUD$505, booked on edreams.co.uk and paying in GBP. Can probably also be booked on other sites.

Deals are also available for travel to ICN, MNL, SIN, KUL, SGN and BKK.

Various dates from November 2015 to March 2016.

The catch is that you have to fly Air China.

Actually a sweet deal! Air China is offering a total itinerary time of just 15 hours ARN-HKG which is fast.

I didn't really appreciate ARN-PEK was a short flight in the 7.5 hour range - so a fairly generous 32' pitch seems fine for that.

Sweet deal and cheaper than staff fares!

Air China is pretty good in biz/first I wouldn't hesitate to fly them again.

Only ever flown Air China once (in Y) and that will be my last ever flight on that airline.

I avoid them studiously (even in business class) when making award bookings on *A flights, even if they're the only airline available. In that case I will just change my itinerary. Once bitten...
