Hi guys,

Just wanting to check if Ill be eligible for domestic lounge access on the following situation (plat member)....

AKL-SYD on Air NZ, then onto a separately ticketed REX domestic flight.

The website states: "Velocity Platinum members can access the Virgin Australia Lounge on arrival with an eligible day of travel Virgin Australia or partner airline itinerary (or boarding pass)"
Given the above, and given I will be travelling with a partner airline, I should be able to access the lounge on arrival. Doesn't really specify that the day of travel itinerary/boarding pass has to be domestic or international.

Has anyone had any experience with a situation like this?

Cheers

I have done this before a few times coming back from NZ as a VA Gold. Awaiting a 'lovely' Rex flight. I think they feel sorry for Rex passengers maybe and that could be something to do with it. No probs with arrival access
