Was travelling with three year old Little Miss Gremlin the other day and on arrival at BNE she announces to all within earshot that she was "busting". Toilets in general concourse near the Lounge were closed for cleaning, so went to take her into the Lounge.

Entry staff seemed a bit unsure whether I should be allowed in as I had already flown and didn't have any onwards segment. They may have been new to the role as I hadn't seen them before and I travel enough through the BNE Lounge to know most of them. I was given access without too much question, but I'm not sure whether I should've been...

CrazyDave98 has previously said that Arrivals Lounge access is a benefit (see http://www.australianfrequentflyer....burning-members-about-25785-3.html#post363217 ), but then I read the T&Cs of the Lounge and I'm not sure that's how I interpret it (Virgin Blue > Entry & Access ) which talk about requiring an onward domestic flight (my bolding).

Can one of the DJ reps verify?

For starters, this is where I would look as a Velocity Gold, though I also don’t see anything about arriving, as it’s still "onward travel". However I have used the lounge as an arrivals lounge before, so perhaps the website just needs to be updated.

I suspect this is one of those "off the record" benefits that they are generally happy to provide, but don't want to publicise for fear they will be swamped .....

I had to fly up and back from MEL to CBR in the one day on NYE. My bus back to Geelong didn;t depart until 5.30pm despite the flight from CBR landing at 4pm. Before leaving MEL in the morning I asked the staff at the Lounge front desk on whether I would be allowed to wait for my bus in the Lounge. They said 'absolutely yes'. They said it was only the pay-on-the-day people that were not permitted to do this and that Lounge annual members were perfectly entitled to do this.
Thnaksfully the flight landed in MEL early and I was able to rush and catch the 4.15pmGull Bus back to Geelong so I didn't get to try it out.

Never had an issue as a Lounge member/Silver or in the past 18 months as a Gold in walking into any lounge (MEL, SYD, CBR, or even PER - back through security check) - to access the Lounge on arrival, even without a same-day departure, for a quick freshen up.
