Arrive to Avalon Air Show on a 747

So woke up this morning and checked FlightAware only to find OEB was halfway to Tokyo! VH-OJU has stepped in to take us to Avalon - am guessing she was the one meant to go to Tokyo last night and had an issue that caused the sub!

Just taxiing for take off now after a great breakfast in the lounge, lots of excitement and 747 enthusiasts! Sure it's going to be a great day!

Traditionally, flights such as these do not credit points/SC as they are not regular service. The first charity flight to LRE did not credit for example (the second one did, but that’s more of an anomaly).

These flights were advertised by Qantas as earning SCs and points....I myself have filed a missing claim with Qf.

On the booking screen? I saw that too, and it was the same for the first LRE charity flight, but it was still a special charter.

Can you provide some original text where it says the flights were going to specifically earn?

Success....manually awarded 40 SCs and 2400 points for the return trip to Avalon
