Article: Can LATAM Pass Members Access Qantas Lounges?

I've read the article in the OP, as it states, it's as clear as mud.
The reason is I'm travelling on LA804 from MEL to SCL this coming week in Y. I have done this flight several times in J on a LA ticketed flight and had QF J Lounge access no problems.
I do have LATAM Platinum status. (Used to be QF Platinum , but that's a story for another day). According to LATAM , I should have access to the QF J lounge as I read it, but now not so sure?
I'll see how I go and give some feedback.

Edit: It's probably a little more murky due to LATAM's recent overhaul of their FF program. As I've learnt , their enthusiastic fanfare prior to the changes, doesn't reflect reality. To nobody's surprise.

So, the results are in. As LATAM platinum in Y, you can access the J lounge, but only if it's a QF flight code. LA code means no access ,as in my case.
If flying in J, it's no problem.
I asked a couple of questions at the desk, she was very helpful and apologetic towards me. I've sent an email to Latam to alter their website for clarity, but I don't expect anything to come of it.
