Interesting question i have.

ScootPlus or SQ Y for say MEL-SIN. Roughly equivalent prices. (Or QF, EK, TK Y as they all fly the route as full service and is about the same price )

I just booked SYD-SIN o/w in June - found a day when ScootPlus was $553 (the days around were ~$750). As a bonus, I had a voucher from KF that brought it down to $460. At that price, it seemed worth rolling the dice. Daytime flight too, arriving 18:55 - hopefully get to the hotel in time for dinner.

Anyone have any experience in the bulkhead seats? I've watched some video reviews and I can't quite get a sense of the legroom.
Having flown it a week ago, I'll answer my own question: the bulkhead (1A) worked very nicely, plenty of room to get past my seat mate without any gymnastics needed. Generous amount of legroom and the width was good (especially for a daytime flight).

Main downside was that the meal was pretty mediocre - I didn't get the meal I'd pre-ordered, and it was a pretty small serve. Fortunately, I'd already had a decent late breakfast in the AmEx lounge, and the small meal tided me over. I did overhear another passenger complain, along the lines of: "We've had our snack, when do we get the meal?"

I flew ScootPlus over the weekend and was happy with it for the price (which was less than or about the same as SQ Y). However I did notice when I did online checkin that my meal preference didn't appear to be saved on the booking. I re-selected it during online checkin and did receive my preferred choice (which was pretty mediocre anyway, but at least was what I ordered).
