Transfer to Chrisflyer acct free, its 50% value but better than nothing
I'm doing the reverse with Mrsdrron's expiring KF points. Not enough for a J award anywhere. They will then end up in my slowly expanding VA points tally.

But Krisflyer expire irrespective of whether you have earned more points.

Might be time for me to transfer some Flybuys as I haven't flow Virgin or a partner since pre-covid and am unlikely to do so anytime soon (pretty sure the last points from a flight were with Delta who are no longer a partner).

What does the brains trust think about this - we are flying SQ on 28 June, if we record our VA FF on the SQ flight will they be recorded on VA before 30 June?

I spend our KF points usually only after transferring from Amex.
However covid presented some unique situations such as getting *gold by transferring points and all VA points prior to their bankruptcy. I have points expiring in August but just waiting for July flights to open up for our July Asian trip.
Problem was Mrsdrron was left with 20000 points. Don't want a Y redemption and not enough for J where we want to go.

Transferred 1000 Flybuys which gave 500 Velocity points + 5% bonus, to keep this alive as I wasn't sure the SCs from Coles shop were enough on their own.

Funnily enough I couldnt see anywhere on the website that noted when my points were due to expire.

If anyone reading this actually has a dormant account with points expiring this month, check your "My Offers" section. There will probably be an offer there for a bonus 5,000 points for making a new earn transaction.

No such luck but I just threw 2000 VFF pts over from e-Rewards (just in case)…

Well, earning status credits is one thing but you do need to fly VA and earn eligible sectors in order to attain a higher status tier. ;)
