Great to see QR up their service level. i have 4 future segments all in QR suites but they will miss out on this caviar treat. Not too disappointing though. would be cool if they can add caviar to the menu in their Doha Al Mourjan lounge.

I assume this is 'real' certified caviar, and not just fish eggs.

Damn discrimination not to have it served out of ADL, though.
Yes it is
According to Head For Points and a number of similar articles
The caviar in question is Baerii from the Siberian sturgeon.”
It’s an Italian owned farm I think I read somewhere.

I have two sectors coming up which will have it. Will try to report back.

Assuming that is attractive to someone :)

I've had it on some First Class flights quite a few yeas ago (can't remember which), but it's not a deal maker for me.

Wow- they’ve even found a way to further up their game which is hard to do given their business class us already light years ahead of all the competition in my eyes, especially if you get a Q-Suite.

I just wished Doha airport wasn’t so overcrowded, messy and generally underwhelming compared to much of the direct competition, Changi and even Dubai for example.

Its a lot better since the new orchard extension / new lounges etc, definitely easier than having to change concourses in DXB

Oh true, I had been the last time just a week or two before that had all opened up. Good to know that it has made a positive change- might “unavoid” Doha then for another try!

Not my cup of tea so not bothered. Mrs D, however, loves the stuff so will be most pleased for our next trip.
Salty and fishy - two of my least favourite flavours

I flew over on QR in F (op up) and my BA DOH-LHR has been cancelled, so I'm now flying QR DOH-LHR, which is one of the routes serving caviar in J. I'll try it once onboard and see how it compares to the F service I had.

Well, it's fake news. Maybe I missed it in the announcement, but on the select routes, it's only select flights. If you're travelling at night, then forget it - it's not offered.

Nope, nothing mentioned on https://www.qatarairways.com/press-...levating-its-award-winning-onboard-experience that it's only certain times of the day.
