Plaza Premium may charge for premium alcoholic drinks and shower so perhaps have a drink and shower at the QF lounge first until it's crowded before heading over to Plaza Premium?

Sounds like a reason to go to the PP lounge over the QF lounge. QF alcoholic drinks are pretty basic without even the option to pay for something better
