PS I really liked the little seat/TV cubby hole in the Asiana lounge - looked great!

Nice lounge shots. A couple of notings...

1. The arm chairs by the window look like they look straight at a wall (or maybe it's a reflection??)

2. How long had you been in the lounge - given you arrived at 0800, and the Moet and wine were stoppered, do you think they stoppered them from the night before (eeewwww)? Or was someone drinking them fresly opened at 0800?

There's only a few of those but good place to just hide and watch TV/DVD's etc. Didn't check if they had a PS3 hooked up though ;)

Yeah you're right, its a window and then about a foot or so behind that there is a wall. Hence there wasn't much of a view outside. I didn't drink alcohol that morning but there were a few who did and I do *hope* it was freshly opened.

Both are different in style. I find the OZ crew a bit more refined (like SQ,CX) than than the TG crew however I think TG F is very good too. You will enjoy the on-ground BKK experience ie buggy, lounge, spa, fast track security etc.

Cool thanks for the insight - I got the same impression about the crew after watching this youtube clip:

Thai Airways International First Class Flight Bangkok- Frankfurt - YouTube

Still looks to be amazing - Wish Dec would hurry up and roll around.

Great TR!

In regard to food on OZ, I had to say that I had the best steak in the sky (and comparable to many decent steak restuarants) on OZ J. No other airline even comes close to this.

Also I would go for Korean food on OZ if I can (unless it is steak). They are generally pretty good.

There is a view from the OZ biz class lounge - over the whole apron. Only problem was that when I was there, every single visible gate was occupied by KE!! (talk about brand placement).

Nice Alan..

Thanks for sharing the experience.. The size of the photos are wonderful & match the 'grand" experience.. including the piano.. Wonder if it ever gets a workout? Elton John would love this!!

Lounge looks spacious & especially uncrowded with ample entertainment facilities, even if it only "eyeing off" 'speedy pants"

The cabin looks fresh with subtle colour tones & menu looks enticing.

Just wondering what the gift was?

Just wondering what the gift was?

Thanks for the comments.

The host brought our a tray with a few different gifts which one selects. There were key ring, passport wallet, iphone 4 case, samsung galaxy s2 case, and a few other things which I can't recall. I chose the iPhone case, which was then taken way, boxed and gift wrapped :)
