Hi guys,

To those of you who have shopped at ASOS and other overseas retailers via the Velocity E Store, how long did you have to wait to get the transaction being acknowledged on your Velocity account ?

I shopped at ASOS a week ago, and the package has been sent. But my purchase has not showed up on my Velocity account.
Thanks to all replies.

Completely variable. There's a huge thread on this somewhere.

Previously I would get an email confirming purchase has been noted within 24hrs, points then get paid out usually at the 1 month mark.

However recently (last 3 estore purchases) have had no acknowledgement whatsoever. I suspect I'll have to submit a retrospective claim....

Pretty stupid really - system should be better than this.

I think I've only ever had one (out of 10 or so) purchases that went through properly.. Usually have to submit a retro claim.

My experience to date is this:
1. Access ASOS via eStore link.
2. Purchase goods.
3. Wait 2 weeks for points not to show up.
4. Submit retro claim.
5. Wait another 4-6 weeks.
6. E-mail from VFF advising my transaction was not eligible for points as I did not use the eStore link.

I have successfully earned points from many eStore partners, but never ASOS.

I purchased on 7/9/15, and just submitted my claim. They say it should show up within 5 days and now its been 8 days for me.

Thanks for the replies ! Oh god, looks like i will have to make a retro claim too :( Yes, it's ridiculous that it is so troublesome for such an easy task. Think i will tweet to Richard Branson about this too !

So some ASOS points just turned up in my account. Still via a retro claim, but this is the first time I've been able to successfully earn through them.

According to the terms and conditions it should show up as "pending" 24 - 48 hours after the transaction. In reality, not always but most of the time it does.

Successful points are credited after 30 days. mind you, I have never had points post by themselves under 30 days.
