The At Residence Hotel had agreed to an early check-in & early check-out along with a transfer. The ride to the hotel was only 10 min and around 15 min on the way back (had to drive further away from the airport before reaching a u-turn spot. Dearer than some of the $40 odd hotels that did not get very flattering reviews and we thought we got great value for our money here (in total paid around $80 for the room & 2 transfers). We had a good quiet room, plenty of space, a small balcony, good hot shower and comfortable twin beds. There is onsite food and overall everything was very clean. If needed there are good transport options for going to the city. Certainly would only use as a transit hotel but thought it was a great find for that purpose

Booked a twin in case we weren't on the same clock after the flight1565060352445.jpeg

Re the trasnfers... do they pick you up outside the arrivals door or do you havw to walk to the car/van? My last private transfer we ended up having to walk to the car park :(

They were very organised. We waited probably max 10 minutes after speaking to them-didn't call them until we were about to walk out the gate as we were not in a hurry. Driver insisted on loading the bags. We were the only ones on the trip to the hotel & shared with one other group on the way back to the airport.

This was a confirmation email I received when I made the booking (about 4 months before the stay)
Dear Valued Guest,

Thank you for your confirmation on the VIP Shuttle Service.

On the date of your arrival, our driver will be waiting for you outside of Gate#4 on the Arrival floor (2nd floor). Please look for the white Toyota van with our brown-color At Residence Suvarnabhumi logo and License Plate Number xx_xx_; xx_XX or xx_XX. If it is possible, please call xx_X, xx_XX, xx_XX or xx_XX, xx_XX, xx_XX when the plane has landed and our van will be sent to pick you up right away. In case that phone call is not possible, kindly use the coin-operated public telephone or contact us through email using free wifi available at the airport.

Also, in case that calling or emailing is not possible, then please do not worry as we will do our best to estimate the time and be there at outside of Gate#4 to pick you up.

For the shuttle in going back to Suvarnabhumi airport, please feel free to book this service with our friendly receptionist upon your arrival.

Also, the early check in request will be arrange for you accordingly with no charge.

Thank you very much. We are looking forward to welcome you here in Thailand.

i like that system. While I was met by the driver in my case - also at meeting point 4 - they didn't bring the car to the terminal and we had to trek to the car park. They took the luggage, but it was still hot and humid.

Forgot to mention that we were dropped back at Gate 4-I am guessing that is the area that they are licenced to. It was not far to the TG check-in area anyway. Driver was again out of the vehicle & helping to get the bags organised
