The cheapest way from Athens to Zurich on zuji was around AUD300-AUD400 and that was with either BA, Alitalia or CSA via LHR, MXP/FCO or PRG respectably.

Swiss International has 3 nonstops from Athens to Zurich per day and they are just under the EURO 500, only economy flex fares left.

I searched through Expedia and it showed Airberlin as the cheapest at $294.

Booking direct through the Airberlin site gives a price of 167 Euros. At current exchange rates is ~ $283AUD. Flight connects through Dusseldorf (DUS) and total travel time is ~5hrs.

If you want to take a 'relatively awful' option, you could do ATH-LGW / coach LGW-LTN / LTN-ZRH for around 160 Euros (including coach fare) on 12 June on easyJet.

Not that I recommend such a convoluted routing, but if you want the challenge of doing it the cheapest way, it's worth a try.
