ATO (tax office) payments by credit card

I haven't tried that. Will try that next - thanks for the suggestion. It remembered all cards and billers as before which I was pretty impressed with.
 
deleted app and reinstalled on another phone.

$5 transaction worked. tried $2k and times out...

seems more like a block than it issue.
 
I’ve tried deleting all cards, restarting my phone, deleting the app, restarting my phone then downloading the app and adding one card and I still get the same result. I’ve messaged beem. We’ll see what they say.

Shame if it stops working. Was good while it lasted but for the $2,0000 limits and lack of ability to put narratives on statements but can live with those shortcomings. Will report back if I hear anything from beem. Might have to give payment logic a try. Won’t be free but should get the job done.
 
That didn't work for me. I heard back from support this afternoon. Asked to delete app then re-install. I did it and this time it worked for my Dragon card. Also restored some of my other cards. Some cards which worked flawlessly previously, I can't add as there is something wrong with the expiry date. I've sent Beem support another message about it.

Macquarie cards still don't work as they're classified as "overseas" - I guess the extra interchange is how they can offer "no FX fees". Nothing is for "free".

Macquarie cards don’t have Eftpos - only Visa network. Beem is owned by Eftpos so it’s something to do with that.

Give them a 1 star review on the App Store.

They will care about that.

I can see a stream of 1 star reviews flowing in now, so clearly more than us AFF’ers having a problem!

It depends on the AMEX and their products with various earn/redemption levels.

e.g. When Paying Direct to ATO:

Qantas Business Charge returns ½ point per $1 for your 1.45% fee
Reserve earns 1 point per $1 - transferring to Velocity is 2K Membership rewards to 1K Velocity.
 
Just wanted to close the loop on my experience. I contacted Beem via their email messaging function. Originally, my Wnestpac and Dragon (they're the same bank so that might have something to do with it) were working. I've since added other bank cards over time and they've worked.

Macquarie Visa still not working - I was told it's not because they don't issue EFTPOS cards but Beem hasn't been advised of that number range yet - I have had my Macquarie card for ages - somehow I've resigned myself that Beem won't support it.

Anyway, thought would share my experience after my "near-death experience" with Beem.

Still looking for a "list" of billers that accept CC via BPay so I can use Beem for a wider range of BPay billers. Beem gave me the link to the search engine. Just a matter of trial and error. Still keen if someone has such a list. Below is a link to the search engine Beem gave me FWIW.

How did you manage to reinstate your STG to work?

Mine still showing up verify payments
 
I was able to add it after I added the Westpac card. The other cards, I was able to add gradully usually one per day. Not sure how to better explain it. I'm glad it worked though there was some 2 way emails with support - they were quite quick to respond to each email - I was quite impressed.
