ATO (tax office) payments by credit card

f you're unable to find the variable load cards at Coles/Woolies, another option is to purchase the Coles Mastercard Digital Gift Cards No Purchase Fees for $100 and $250 Coles Mastercard Digital Gift Cards @ Giftcards.com.au ... purchase appears as Retail & Personal on my cc ... I paid my tax last week ... 0.2% ATO surcharge for MasterCard Debit

Variable Load? cards what is that exactly ( the un-initiated)
10x Everyday Rewards Points on Vanilla Mastercard Gift Cards ($5.95/$7.95 Purchase Fees Apply) @ Woolworths (In-Store Only) ...'For each variable Mastercard you buy loaded with $500, you’re essentially paying $7.95 (the purchase fee) to earn $25 worth of Everyday Rewards Dollars (or 2,500 Qantas points)'

Just means you choose the value you want the card to be rather than fixed 100 or 250

Does Coles have variable load cards? I know Woolies does though they were mysteriously not available during the rewards promotion. Good luck to those who got them. The Coles $250 promo is good though I’d be interested in DP about larger load options as the $250 are great but a reasonable time investment & I have a FT job too.

This deal is still available until 19th November.
I have been buying 10 x $250 per day with my Amex.
ATO charges 50 cents per $250 payment.
No issues at all.

Been a year since the 10% off for those sadly.. Doubt they will ever do it again

Mr Katie's latest tax bill has arrived, so hopefully can use some tips here to grab a few points as we pay it off.

I pay ATO (and any investment related payments such as strata levies) via YakPay. Best use of card is Mastercard with a 0.85(?) fee. All others are progressively more.

Thanks!
If I could find them, I think I'd set off some kind of alerts with the number of $500 gift cards we'd need for this bill. Shouldn't complain about capital gains too much, I guess.

I passed on using a credit card to pay our Los Angeles county tax which runs at 1% of value because their processing fee was 2.2%.
OFX now won't accept amex cards - this is very disappointing. I was on a discounted rate with them

Anyone have experience with other players especially if they include payroll? I find pay.com.au as way too expensive

Hi,
Does anyone know if WBC Altitude Qantas Black credit card can be pre-loaded & still receive Qantas points?
i.e. I only have a $15k card limit but have to pay $100k bill, can I transfer $100k to the card and pay the bill in one go ($100k) and still get the Qantas points?
I have contacted WBC but they quite vague with their responses.
Thanks.
