AU-LAX on FJ still around $3000 rtn

Just doing some flight planning and noticed Air Pacific is still offering return business class fares ex AU for around AUD3100 all inclusive.

Fares must be purchased as three tickets - AU-Fiji one way, followed by Fiji-LAX return, then the final Fiji-AU one way.

Pricing out to around AUD882+1798+606 for the three tickets.

Layover each way in Fiji - around 3 hours, and you have to collect and recheck bags. But you do get full QF J class SCs and points (no status bonuses).

Compares to around UD2999 for the QF PE sale fares to LAX.

QF J Class SCs & points but FJ seats & service. It is worst than QF Y+. Food was economy standard, I tried IFE on 5 seats & none of them worked. Good luck.
