Hi,

Just thinking of a last minute status run while the DSC promo is on ( last minute planning I know !! )

Is it possible to fly Melbourne - Auckland and get the same flight back?

No luggage involved. Some flights only have less than 2 hours turn around.

Thanks in advance

TQ

Sure. Easy. Auckland has a transit area so no need to go through customs. Qantas will give you your return boarding pass when you check in at Melbourne

You can certainly do a day return but not sure that it would be the same plane. Biased I might be but why not come over on the early morning plane, take the bus into the city and have a bite, then head back out and catch the late afternoon or evening flight back. Either way enjoy the trip

Thanks so much for your answers
I suppose I should also ask if the DSC applies to multi city bookings?

Definitely possible - did it in Feb to catch the last of the A380s in F. Well worth the trip :)

Too late now but yes, easily doable. I did it a year ago. But flight out of Auckland was delayed by four hours. Instead of getting back around 10pm it was 3am. Absolutely exhausted when I got home. I started in Adelaide and ended in Melbourne.
