Hey Zippy, i fly into Sydney from Johannesburg on the 8th August about 2.30pm or so i recall and don't fly out till 8pm for Perth on Jetstar... Are you able to guest me into the Flounge if you are around at that time???

SYD-PER on JQ domestic? Sorry for the bad news but you are highly unlikely to get FLounge access on arrival. Anyway you really need to be on the same flight as the person guesting.

Hi John, yeah i'm sure it would help to be on the same flight, but was just floating it out there seeing i will arrive in the international terminal and have 6 or so hours to kill before departing domestically... Wasn't sure if there were any hard and fast rules on who you could guest into Flounge like there don't seem to be for just normal QP guesting...

Sometimes if you don't ask you never know what you might get (slipped into an Iberian lounge in Barcelona even though i didn't have my QP card with me and i don't think it entitles me for it anyway) just ask with a smile and if the person is a little unsure you never know what might happen...

Anyway, if not this time, it might be a while before my next Flounge opportunity...

Unfortunately for you arrivals is on the level below departures, so you can't even get to the F Lounge door.

I have to say that for domestic lounges, they tend to wave you through without even really looking at your WP card...

They use the SN Brussels Airlines lounge and you have to pay for wireless internet. Don't really like that lounge a lot. Verry crowded the couple of times I've been there.

and on arrival at MEL will have a brew.
