If you can get a US card then you are good to go ...

Nearly there, I have formed a LLC in the US to receive a tax ID for my personal credit building, only a few statements away from qualifying for the personal citibank card ( I am sure that I received a generic AA email that said 100k bonus?), I was in the Citibank Torrance CA branch a couple of days ago, the banker I spoke with informed me that the LLC could also take up the offer once the personal Credit score was achieved, no need to even show the books of the LLC or bank accounts, two credit cards with sign on bonus after certain usage.

PM me please about how you've gone about all this please? :)

kempvet that is pretty much what my AFF friend is doing. His LLC is incorporated in a very cold place that probably has a low/no State tax collection.
I think his progress to a Social Security Number and credit cards have all occurred.

I incorporated the LLC in CA, 800 dollars a year so I wouldn't suggest this to everyone, but as I had to actually lease some physical goods from my LLC (leasing to myself was kind of strange sort of thing to get used to) this worked out the best. But if people are selling IT to themselves in Australia, then Nevada or somewhere like that, only 50 dollars a year fee. If your friend is an alien as they say in the USA, likely he has progressed to an ITIN (individual tax identification number) which the banks more or less recognise with the same respect as a SSN.

I have had a few PMs about this, basically I suggest to most people that they simply buy the points when they are on offer, but if you do need to buy business stuff from the USA for use in Australia then a LLC and getting your own ITIN may be the way to go. It is too complicated to explain on AFF, better to google and do some research.

When I am finished buying stuff for my business, probably will move the LLC to North Dakota, I think that annual rego is free there.
