To be honest, international T20 interests me very little, and I may be alone but I could care less even of the upcoming T20 World Cup that will be hosted here in 2020.

Same here, it's a form of cricket that I don't really like, but I think it's another example of Australia's problems in all formats, not just tests.

I also read this article which says we shouldn't be too harsh on the Marsh brothers, for heavens sake!

If you don't perform, your'e out, it shouldn't be an old boys club.

You can't blame the Marshes for bogging down Australian cricket

May be the master sledger doesn't like receiving it

It was the brother of Phillip Hughes who sledged him. There’s a story there methinks.
Interesting....if so, that adds some complexity. Doubt the story will be revealed, but is needed before blind judgement

The SMH is reporting that Jason Hughes, Phillips’ brother, said to Warne “You're a disgrace, you shouldn't be playing cricket.”
If that upset him sufficiently to leave the field, it’s going to be a tough if he gets back to international cricket.

On another note SMarsh makes two barely passably decent scores in a Shield match and is now said to be set for 4 Tests against India. Gimme strength.

Maddening isn’t it. But a common trend as noted upthread. Mark Waugh excelled at last ditch saves.

Though Mark Waugh has a better test batting average and strike rate than Shaun Marsh and a better bowling test strike rate than Mitchell Marsh. As well as having double the most catches in an innings and in a match as both Marshes. Also 1.5 catches per test on average S Marsh 1 per 1.7 tests,M Marsh 1 per 2.1 tests.

Yep, to put Mark Waugh in the same breath as either Marsh brothers is quite laughable IMO.

Oh yes. In his hey day he was fabulous. But he hung around when he should have left.
