Dolphins. They were rather small though and quite far away but many of them.

Think that Jess has five bars to go. She accidentally duped one. Another trivia in a few minutes. And an AFFloater dinner tonight assuming *someone with status* remembered to book.

Dinner is booked, for those sober enough to find it, in the Bernini dining room for 7:30pm.

And now my room card has given up the ghost :(
Luckily Pushka found our cabin steward and he let us in. Another trip to guest services later!

My apologies - Pushka beat me to it posting.

After battling our way through the crowds to get back from Trivia, going up and down decks trying to get a lift up we finally get to our room and now DameO has fritzed her Card. We are not going back to guest services so thankfully cabin attendant let us in. Clearly something wrong with our door. DameO has an invite to meet the Captain and so I can tag along too. Then the AFFloater dinner.
We are just back from drinks with Captain Aldo and we told him about you, so you may or may not be allowed in!

Four of us having a last farewell breakfast in the buffet.
We are doing the same. Here.

We left the ship at 7.15 and straight off. There were no taxis in the port so it’s going to be a very long walk with full luggage for some of the less abled. Taxis can’t get in due to the loading of the Tasmania ferry. It was cool when we left but even then a couple were struggling. We grabbed a taxi as it was stuck in the queue extending out onto the road.

Visited the last one at 10 last night.

Job done.
Yes. I heard the news last night. A random bump into another participant. Good job. I wonder how others pulled up today. ;)

Well hello all ye 'floaters'! I'm not your regular poster but here I am! We've had a great cruise, short as it was and as much as I knew of and had met a number of our fellow 'floaters', it's been fun actually spending time and getting to know each other better.
We had great weather crossing a part of the Bight, and I even managed a swim in what I have since found out was the coldest pool on the ship! As such I wasn't in very long but had been lying in the sun so it was nice to cool down.
Anyone else partake in the Casino tables? I'm a Three Card Poker (Prime) person - love it! Came away $110 profit so not to be sneezed at.
Had more Mai-Tai's in a day than I've had before in a year much to he that shall remain nameless's shock horror - but that was a fun day! Then had to soak them up with Pizza and Chips! Not my usual mid afternoon fare but it did the trick.
Last off the ship this morning and as per an earlier report, might be tricky grabbing a cab - we can only hope it's not going to be hard. Such is life. Thanks to all fellow floaters for great company, can't wait to do all this again!

Ms N and I disembarked at 8.30. A short walk along the pier to the tram stop. I am now on the train heading out to pick up my car - which apparently has a flat tyre. Oh well. (I have been offered the services of some junior staff to change it when I get there! :D)

Kudos to Sinophile888 and Pushka for starting the thread - without which this fabulous trip would not have happened.

Welcome aboard mrsmajor. It was great to meet you! Thought you were going to blow your money? Yep. Yesterday was a biggie but Ferris Beuller was a hoot! I heard the same about line dancing after above mentioned Mai Tais. And that was just after lunch.

Line dancing was ‘another’ not to be mentioned story!

As per the post from mrsmajor. We were also due to be last off the ship but we (the 4 of us) caught a lift down to level six and joined into the departure line about 15 min early.
Cabs were messy so we all caught a tram into Melbourne. This gave Sue and I the opportunity to scurry onto the next Traralgon train with 2 min to spare though we needn’t have hurried as it’s 10 min after departure time and we are still sitting in the station.

Thanks to everyone as it was a blast.

The only thing left to do is plan cruise #2!
