Do you mean Melbourne ?
er, no.

The commentary I've heard thrown at NSW and Sydney from all and sundry down here in Melbourne over the past month has been ridiculous. And yet look what happens in Melbourne when we're in lockdown -the same things.

I don't have much of a problem with the above photo myself, nor any great issue with the photos of people walking along Bondi beach either.

It's almost like humans behave the same in the same country! Who would have thought...

I've heard the 2 young patients who died in this Sydney outbreak had myocarditis - it is a well known complication of Covid. It certainly explains what happened to the young man who was well at home.Sudden death is a well known complication of myocarditis

Look at Bondi, no one follows the rules, it's not a real lockdown, etc etc 🤪

Mind you last postive case in Bondi Junction postcode (2026) was almost 2 wks ago.

First one had no known disease, although media interviewed a cousin who said some history of heart disease.

Bondi is 2026, Bondi Junction is 2022.

Completely different suburbs with different demographics.

You can be completely healthy and still have myocarditis as the result of several viral infections including Covid.

I panic bought 40 bags of concrete

One of the brave new world improvements in commerce is that bagged cement now doesn't keep….
The old stuff must have been drier or better packed.. but it would keep for ages.

Also shows by postcode.

You can get up to date cases by postcode at the official site:

The weekly surveillance reports have been running late, the latest one for week ending 24th July, you can see the huge jump in cases in Western Sydney in just one week - tahts why they needed to add Paramatta and coughberland to the areas of concern (and then Penrith today).

You can see how south west and western sydney cases are dwarfing the rest of metro Sydney:

Seems too many health care workers still not fully vacicnated. 42 of the health care worker cases not vaccinated at all and 16 only partially, 7 breakthrough:

All of the Aged Care worker cases, the workers were not fully vaccinated:

The below shows that 1% of all covid positives from March have been fully vaccinated.

And vaccination keeps you out of ICU:
