Is it just me or has Covid trumped every other caution? Have we forgotten that other ailments exist? I am meant to have a meeting with my boss tomorrow, but he can barely speak due to some respirartory thing, him just getting back from India. he says that all his Covid tests come back negative. But should I care that he is ostensibly Covid negative? Have we forgotten that other ailments exist?

And how do you propose stopping asymptomatic people from going to work and spreading it?

You don't and cannot.

But in saying that if someone in your family has covid surely you'd suspect that you may have covid as well and will do the right thing by everyone and stay home?

Our office sends an email to everyone if someone reports they have chicken pox.

They used to send an email when someone identified as covid positive. They would not name the person but they'd name the office. This has stopped? Why? The severity of covid has reduced? That's not it either. Our office constantly sends email if you're sick with symptoms of cold/flu/covid stay home. They've actually sent people home.

I've spoken with people where whole teams in office have had covid. One of them still affected weeks later. All this person did was go to work as directed. Extremely unfair.

Great. So you’re getting what you want…. Yes, the severity of covid has massively reduced. Does your workplace send a group email stating “Beryl in accounting had the sniffles”? I’d suggest not.

People are walking around wearing masks despite us knowing they do nothing. Yet when this is pointed out to them, they attack the rest of us. It’s identified a pretty serious mental health issue that we continue to ignore by giving these people airtime.

Is this true for all masks and mask wearers in all contexts?

Dont worry they are coming I'm sure ... cant keep a good personal injury lawyer down too long, unless they cant work due to long Covid...
