Only if you buy a multi day gold pass which is expensive but gives you grandstand seating.

The "boarding pass" tickets (general admission) are tied to specific day, so you'd need to buy multiple to cover the weekend.

Thanks for the clarification. I'm looking at the general admission one and for some reason it though it was entrance for multi day haha good to know thanks

Went today for the first trade day. Great flying and no additional fee to sit in the stands.

The traffic getting there was horrendous. I got to the freeway turn off for Avalon Airport at about 0830am. It took two (2) hours to get to the carpark!

Cannot imagine how bad it will be an the public days. It was fun seeing people driving along the service road beside the freeway and then discussing their route with the police.

There were police everywhere today. They were checking IDs at the entrance gate. Not really the place to be stupid this week.

Will be in Melb city this weekend for a wedding and thinking of visiting the airshow Friday. What will be the quickest, easiest and cheapest way to get here and back?

I understand protesters intend to cause issues this Saturday.

Anyone can still jump the fence onto the runway from the public area. They will do whatever gets them attention, but like Just Stop Oil over in the UK causing issues.
