Avalon AVV car hire closes at 4pm?

Have we given up on Avalon? Seems like Budget and Avis close at 4pm yet there are two flights after that each day.

I thought Avalon would have been growing in flights with Bonza and covid being over.

Been burnt before. They generally don’t do bookings even for walk ups.

The issue I had was the delayed flight, and they just closed and went home.
