Hey guys - I booked a return trip to Europe last Tuesday with Qantas but the taxes are still showing as "pending" on my credit card, and the QFF points have not been deducted. I can see the booking on my QFF page, but I've not received an itinerary or any form of email confirmation from Qantas. I've asked them about it twice and they say it's finalised and confirmed, but they just need to issue me the tickets. They've also confirmed that it's fine for me to start booking hotels, tours, etc. It's taking a while though - should I be concerned?
 
Tickets are issues according to urgency. If your flight was on Saturday, it would have issued almost instantly.

I suspect your flights are not for a few months?

Sometimes missing information can affect the ticketing, but if the agents tell you it's fine sit back and relax.

It's in March.

There's no way they'll suddenly turn around and say that there was a system error and that my booking did not actually go through right? Wouldn't hold it against Qantas if they had to move me to F though. :p

Red Roo is onto it.... similar incident late last year, rang CS they said there was a error in the system that had prevented the ticket being issued. Ten minutes later i had my ticket and the rest is history.

Nope - but the QFF points have finally been deducted, at least. They have indicated that the tickets will be issued within 24-48 hours. Apparently a system error is to blame.
 
Had the same problem myself last year. Asked on this site if this was normal. Red Roo kindly stepped in and all was sorted. Great service.
